My Story

What I Do

Amber has been invested in the visual and abstract arts since a young age. Studying at Plymouth college of Art and being the first female to earn a distinction in a Foundation Degree in Film and Media, she Focuses her projects into the current issues involving cultural and social constrictions women and other minorities face all around the world.

Being a woman and filmmaker is no restriction when it comes to visionary practises as shown in her 2016 Aesthetica Showcased Fashion Film, an ode to the house fashion brand, Loewe. Moving through to work on projects involving themes on sisterhood and womanhood, as well as music videos and being a partner in production company, Roadless films, Amber is now gravitating towards her own research projects while she takes her MA in Fine Art.

Ambers practise has been lead through the exploration of woman in and behind films. She works primarily as a Director but is also employed as grip, sound recordist, camerawoman and performer.
