TABOO AND ABJECT is a video artist approach to the taboo and the abjection of abortion, looking from a woman perspective. Abortion is something which is denied in visual media because it is 'bad' to watch, something so unchristian thats it better to not discussed.

NOT LIKE NOW, a multimedia/experimental piece which confronts racism and love. Inspired by traditional video art and installation work, this story tells of a woman called Julie and her conflicting ideals of right and wrong, love and loyalty. Ollo is a young man, coming over to Plymouth to earn his own way. The mix of time in this film shows the ever growing problem of racism from the 50's till now.

This film was widely researched on my blog, with inspiration coming from the book, The Red Tent. If you want to know more about this and other projects, head over to my blog which explores the research, the difficulties and the process in making these films!
